Faith Formation

God invites all of us to be co-creators of life. We are called to respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and to an ever-deepening conversion. As members of Christ’s Church, we recognize the need to nurture each other on our lifelong faith journeys. 

Generations of Faith Together – GIFT

This is the process of faith formation for all ages of our parish.  It is a whole community, intergenerational process.  Learning sessions are for Pre-Kindergarten children through adults.

GIFT Plus

Kindergarteners through Sixth grade and Adults. These meetings are in addition to the Sunday GIFT program. Students must attend both Sunday and Wednesday to fulfill the parish faith formation program.

Sacramental Preparation for Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Holy Communion

Students in Second grade prepare for and celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation

Students in Third grade prepare for and celebrate the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion.

Marriage Preparation

Marriage Preparation class dates for 2011:

January 8            10:00 am – 3:30 pm

February 12        10:00 am – 3:30 pm

March 12             12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The RCIA is a process for the unbaptized or those baptized in another faith who are interested in joining the Catholic Church.  Please call for more information.

Spiritual Direction

“Who is God for me?” “Who am I for God?”

The focus of spiritual direction is on your relationship with God.

“Spiritual” points to the inner life and also recognizes and reminds us that the Holy Spirit is at work.

“Direction” speaks to the fact that you are on a journey, going somewhere.

Therefore, the concern of spiritual direction is “to be able to cooperate with the voice of the Spirit within us and, by obediently listening to that voice, permit the realization of God’s will to take place within our live.” - Francis W. Vanderwall, S.J.

Spiritual direction is done individually or within a group.  Whether you participate in individual or group spiritual direction, the Holy Spirit is always the Real Director.

Taize Prayer

Taize Prayer is a time for quiet meditation and prayer.  During the seasons of Advent and Lent we invite you to spend some quiet prayerful time with us.  Taize prayer is held on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
