“Who is God for me?” “Who am I for God?”
The focus of spiritual direction is on your relationship with God.
“Spiritual” points to the inner life and also recognizes and reminds us that the Holy Spirit is at work.
“Direction” speaks to the fact that you are on a journey,
going somewhere.
Therefore, the concern of spiritual direction is “to be able to cooperate
with the voice of the Spirit within us and, by obediently listening to
that voice, permit the realization of God’s will to take place within our
live.” - Francis W. Vanderwall, S.J.
Spiritual direction is done individually or within a group. Whether you
participate in individual or group spiritual direction, the Holy Spirit is
always the Real Director.
Please call if you would like more information on spiritual
direction.
Taize Prayer
“The desire for communion with God has been set within the human heart since the dawn of time. The mystery of that communion touches what is most intimate in us, reaching down to the very depths of our being.”
(To the wellsprings of joy: Letter for 2004)
Taize Prayer is a time for quiet meditation and prayer. During the seasons of Advent and Lent we invite you to spend some quiet prayerful time with us. Taize prayer is held on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
