The mission of the Health Ministry
is to assist our faith community to live full, abundant, healthy,
Christ-centered lives.
The Health Ministry is a group of
parishioners who believe in the healing mission and compassion of Jesus to
ALL INDIVIDUALS. We seek to foster health and healing in others by
assisting them to meet their physical, emotional, social and spiritual
needs.
OUR ACTIVITIES

Offer a listening ear |

Visit shut-ins at home and extended
care facilities |
|
|
Visit those in the hospital and
those with hospice |
|
|
Call the lonely, and those recently
and chronically ill |
|
|
Pray for the sick |
|
|
Help with blood drives |
|
|
Educate through programs, weekly
articles, the information rack, and bulletin board |
|
|
Serve as a guide to community
resources |
|
|
Blood pressure screening with follow
up as indicated |
|
|
Eucharistic Celebration and Anointing of the
Sick and Elderly |
|
|
Support other parish ministries and
community efforts in caring for others, such as volunteering with Safe
Harbor |

as you did it for one of these, the least of my brethren, you did it for
