Vocations

The Church as the Body of Christ lives in its fullness when all members of the body are offering themselves with generous hearts.  A vocation is a calling to serve God, no matter what our state in life.  Some are called to be ordained as a priest or deacon, or to take vows in religious life.  Some are called to the vows of married life.  Others are called to live a generous single life as a way of serving the Lord’s purposes.  All have great dignity in God’s plan.  All play a vital role in the work of the Gospel.
